PHILOSOPHY

As D-Linemen we’re asked to do the toughest things on the football field:
Get off the ball in a split second
Attack an O-Lineman (or 2) that are typically bigger than ourselves
Diagnose the play in that half second
Track the ball and make a play!
Do it all again, play after play

In order to do all of that, you need to be in shape and have good football IQ. With me, you’ll get both.
My goal is to push you to be the best version of yourself through hard work, perseverance, discipline and dedication. With a keen focus/eye on detail, we will start from the ground up to instill correct habits and techniques. While establishing this solid foundation, I will find your baseline to develop a personalized approach to pushing you to your limit and beyond. Discipline is a quality that is learned through hard work – if you’re ready to put your all into getting better, I’ll be there every step of the way, pushing and encouraging you.

I always explain every move, every drill, every technique in explicit detail so not only do you understand how, but also why each part of the training is important, where and when it will be used on the field. I have an intense personality and pay meticulous attention to details in technique, but I promise you, IT WILL MAKE YOU BETTER! This constant reinforcement of correct technique will take you to the next level.

You will get out of these sessions what you put in. You must come with the mentality of being ready to work. I know the difference between your body needing a break and quitting on yourself due to mental weakness. It’s not going to be easy – I will be hard on you to push through your weakness to unlock your greatest potential. This is what it takes to be a Lukings Lineman!
